Keynote address: Carolyn Pierce

As a partner at McKinsey & CompanyCarolyn Pierce leads the technology team in McKinsey’s People and Organizational Performance practice. She and her team are collaborating on a national project to to prove the value and transferability of skills developed through work experience.

Panel discussion

To focus on strategies that work for West Michigan employers, Pierce will be joined by two leading practitioners:

Rachel Fearnley, SHRM-CP, oversees talent acquisition strategy, employer branding/marketing, technology and operational processes for Meijer stores and supply chain facilities. Rachel has spent the past 15 years in talent acquisition and holds her Master of Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University.

Danielle Smith leads the global human resources function at Shape Corp. She has an undergraduate degree in Political Economy and graduate degree in Labor & Industrial Relations from Michigan State University. She has over twenty years of human resources experience.

The panel will be moderated by Luke McCotter, SHRM-CP, Director of Human Resources at ADAC Automotive. McCotter has been involved in Human Resources for 15-plus years. Over that time he has gained experience in staffing, business development, leadership development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, environmental health & safety, and payroll. Currently, he is the Director of Human Resources for ADAC Automotive, a tier 1 plastics and electronics components supplier in the automotive industry.
